Anyone run a chiller? Thinking I might get one. Tank creeps up to 82 according to my Apex
I have the old one we used in the early 2000s with the overdriven 250w metal halides but haven’t needed it now with the LEDs.

Hmm I like the looks of that vs plumbing in a chiller
Yeah looks pretty cool. If you have a inkbird you can have it automatically kick on at 82 as well. The ghl is pretty expensive but if on a budget... PC fans work equally as well.

My setup has the reefbrite 250w halides. That’s what got me thinking about something to keep it cool. Plus it gets stupid hot here in Central Cal during the summer.

May try the fans first

I really wish not to have to use one... I'd hate to have to plug another thing in. Luckily not very many days in my area reach above 100... and my AC keeps the temperature ok in the room.
same here. I dont like chiller either as its noisy but AC would not be able to cool down my 200gal if outside temp is >90F for consecutive days

My budget is blown with this new to me tank :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I see what you did there
