I have a supply closet next to my tank room so I'm planning on creating a fish area. My goal is to breed ghost shrimp, Molly's, and have a shelf dedicated to phyto

I'm doing phyto, berghia, and hopefully at some point clowns if mine ever breed. 2.5 years and nothing yet. At some point will try breeding shrimp again. I need to buy a jellyfish tank for that though.

What do you think of the poseidon reactors? They seem pricey but cleaner looking

Pricey. Ask @ros3to what he is using for jars. Essentially if you can figure out a nice sized jar and lighting, then you could save some money. I use bags I bought off of Amazon and it's much cheaper now for supplies.

Later. I tried my first nem at 3 months, it crawled into a hole and I never saw it again. Didn't nuke the tank or anything, but it wasn't happy.

Welcome to try it, I'd love to hear other people's opinions. I tried again at 9 months and it was fine. I still have that nem, but I started with a cheap green orange one the second time. I had the same situation though where a friend gifted the first one that was nicer.
