I’m just cutting acro off the frag plug not harvesting off the reef. Haha

Ive done it that way too, but then I’ll bring the epoxy or the glue all the way to the base to cover it.
The advantage is that’s where a lot of nasties hang out and dips don’t kill eggs and typically eggs are down there.

I usually cut it before even dipping
