SBB Blueberry Goni I thought was dead. Moved the base to a low flow, low light area and within 2 weeks is showing life again

I have been able to use bone cutters to separate the epoxy from the frag plug but if I truly want a clean starting point then Dremel with a diamond wheel is the next best thing (behind the band saw).

The torches are a little brittle, so some cutter is too stromg

Cutters crush more than cut..so it will crush torch stems. A dremel or band saw is best

You could cut the peg off and epoxy the rest of it. That’s what I did here with the acro on the right.

Although my torches may think there’s a natural disaster going on in there. Look at them whipping around in the background. That’s life in an SPS tank. They have to deal with it.

Those torches are getting treated just as bad as your dipping practices

Good point. I use the tunze stuff so it’s just silicone. But most of the others are not like that.
