I grabbed a 150 gallon crew and added a bunch of unique snails. Ox tail, money cowrie etc

I finally figured out my PH problem and why it stayed so low despite pulling all the tricks, CO2 Scrubber, kalkwasser at night, open window, high water surface agitation, etc, etc.

All I did was re-calibrate my PH probe…..

Yup! Stopped looking at ph numbers because it drifts. I just keep an eye on the curve being steady and assume I'm at 8.1 to 8.3 which I am . Use senseye and PH probe for my ph checking.

Any skimmer recommendations? Had an aquamaxx dc skimmer for 2 months and for pump broke. BRS is dragging their feet about replacing... seems they bought them out completely and are discontinuing them

I am a big fan of the Reef Octo with the VarioS pump (I run the Regal 200sss in my 230). Super quiet and super efficient. If you can get one from Thuan's contact even better.

Messing with different filters today. Tried using a double orange filter. Really made the colors pop. What do you think? I had to increase the shadow effect because they were too bright.
