However I wonder if he really had it for sale. I messaged him on FB and it was available. 10 minutes later I said I’ll take it and he said it already sold. Seems suspicious as it wasn’t advertised he only told me he had it when I asked

There’s 0 need to. If anything it’s worse for PH reasons. The salinity in the bag and in your tank should already be close.

FWIW I plop and drop all fish. My death rate with drip acclimation vs plop and drop is significantly higher. Both from the LFS tank and straight from the LFS wholesale order

I will do that with fish if the salinity is close. But I still won’t drip acclimate. If the salinity is way off I just put tank water into the bag every 10 minutes or so.

quick question, cuz I was manhandling my moonshrooms, they slimed(a lot) THEY R COMPLETELY FINE THO
my tank cloudy(and I also drilled a hole in a dry rock so there is also small amount of dust from that)
my tanks a 11.4 gal, should I do a quick water change or should I get some filter socks/filter floss?

First off...you were young man handeling it at best. 2nd...should be fine but some floss wouldn't hurt.
