My wife gave me the go ahead at Christmas to buy the tank I wanted . So I decided on the Sc 150 . Well I have been fighting with getting it setup for a few weeks . I could never get it level. I tore my old stand that I loved apart and built a new one . After fighting with it I got fed up and took the tank off the stand . I placed my 6 ft level on the bottom and come to find out the tank is bowed bad . Waiting on SC to see what they say .

My wife kept asking why I was having so much problems . She said you never have issues like this . Now we know why

Crap now I’m worried! Just got my SCA 150 and about to set it on the stand. Fingers crossed it’s not bowed too!

Good luck Nick
Don’t get me wrong I have heard good things about SCA that’s why I ordered from them . Just hope they take care of this .

What way is it bowed? Can’t tell from the pictures.

If you end up having issues still, I just got a Planet Aquarium 150 that is absolutely beautiful. Hope you can get your problem solved though. I was looking at your exact tank but had an opportunity to see my tank in person which is why I went this way.

There is a 150 gallon tank at my LFS for 100$!! But I’m not to sure about it because it has been used and is some what dirty and was just wanting a second opinion befor I make the decision. Also keep in mind I’m 13 with no job and have been in the hobby for 3 years so this is pretty big for me

SCA has outstanding customer service, I probably would have waited for their reply before posting.

I have not heard any quality control issues on their tanks, but I do know they have been switching stand builders and had issues there, but they have always seemed fast to resolve issues.

They sell a lot of tanks, I don't know any manufacturer of anything that does not have a bump in road once in a while, but how they resolve those issues is where I judge them.

Like someone else said, they will probably send a new tank right away.

I'm very happy w/ mine, I think they are still the best deal there is on a low iron glass tank.
