Just got my SCA 120 gallon pre-drilled for exotic marine overflow. It seems that the tank has a black background installed on the back (looks like just adhesive sheet). Gonna have to cut the holes out.

Has anyone installed an overflow with the background applied? A little worried about bulkhead seal. Should it be removed and just paint the back? Or am I overthinking it?

I would highly recommend contacting SC since you got it from them.

I used a razor to cut the holes out and it worked great. No issues with the seal. The actual waterproof boundary is on the inside of the tank if you install your bulkheads correctly.
