So I see several people on here that have had good experience with this company, I'm here to tell another story! It began the 5th I order an 80bgallon system from them that i intend to do cornbred themed tank with, sounds great huh? Yeah until I begin the ordering process, so I picked my tank my stand hey my money and click ship I wait 3 days for an email to show that my new aquarium is coming and never received one so I emailed them and another day later they finally respond and say, by the way we don't have that stain and we ran out here's the one you're going to get, and is sending a weathered gray when I ordered a cherry to match the furniture in my house oh, okay so I agree then he finally ships out on the 8th and tells me that it will be six days by the time it gets to me, okay great 350 lb package I can deal with that oh, but then I call the shipment company because his tracking numbers don't work and they tell me that I won't even be receiving a phone call from them until the 20th of the month to discuss when my package will be delivered because he didn't send it on a truck he sent it on a train! Now I ordered from this company because of their supposed rapid shipping so that I could get all of the very expensive cornbred livestock that I have here in that tank as soon as possible, has anyone else dealt with this from this company and if so how did you handle it to make it right?
 
There have been a few instances over time where folks have had a bad experience with SCA and Steve. Sorry to hear you're one of them. I am not sure what things you need or want to make right. Seems like in the end it's just the slow shipping you're unhappy with.

In that case, I would email Steve and express your disappointment with the shipping method and see what he comes back with. As for the stain of the stand, that is also frustrating, but you did agree to the change in color, so I don't think you have much room there to complain, since you agreed to it.

In most cases I've seen documented online of poor experiences, folks have been able to come to a resolution with Steve. It may take a little persistence, but in the end most folks have ended up satisfied.

The stain yes ill live with, the very poor response time, not even emailing me when he didnt hav my cabinet and making me have to reach him complaining is bad business,and the shipment..well is just absurd honestly, don't tell people 6 days when you know it will be nearly a month! Like most I ordered everything back to back an scheduled all shipments close because you have to be home when they arrive, the expense of anything involved in these builds demands it! Meaning most hav to ask for time off and most companies arent happy when you have to keep asking them to be off! Steve is who I have been dealing with since day 1, Is he pleasant to chat with? Sure! Does he try to resolve your issues? I seriously disagree with, he only seems to be masking them and being less than honest in his intent on the order!
 
As I said, I have read instances of a few people slipping through the cracks. Unfortunately, your situation seems to be one of them. If you're so upset with the transaction, I suppose you could try to refuse the shipment and have it sent back and try to get a refund.
