Hey R2R,

I've been a member here for a little while but mostly just for the market place and really never posted. I am currently in the midst of putting together a 105 sca reef tank.

Quick pics i took today but here is the progress so far.

Not complete yet still have a lot of painting and touch ups but here's the progress so far. Was able to give a couple hours to the stand yesterday

Moving a long. Trim is finished, 2 coats stixs of primer and 1 coat of SW advanced cabinet paint. Then onto the doors, plumbing, and mounting lights!

Any updated pics of this setup? I was thinking of doing something similar to mount lights on an upcoming build and was curious how you went about it...and how you like it now.

I really do like it. Its aluminum t slot 80/20. Strong/light doesn't have the diy feel. I can pm you the actual item number if needed most of, if not all came from Amazon. If you don't go through the wall as I did, it should be fairly easy to adjust lighting heights to get best overall par.

Looking good, recently got an sca tank as well no complaints yet
Yeah I'm also a big fan. Dollar value for build quality . I didn't care for the inset euro bracing but it does make putting a cover on it much more simple.

Agreed! Makes a great shelf though

Curious how you ended up routing the power cord for the lights?

The 80/20 aluminum bars have nice channels to run the power cords. I ran the cable down the bar to the backside of the wall where the outlets are

Just wanted to post quickly to keep this thread going. Tank is going well, currently 6 months old. Had a fun gha outbreak then dinos, then cyno but all is good now. Euphylia garden is growing cant wait for it to all fill in

Awesome setup. How did you put the lip around the top of the stand if you don't mind me asking
