Hello everybody,

I decided to make my first build thread. This is my second tank. My first tank was a 120 gal budget build didn’t really do much with it. When I moved out of my parents house, I bought my first town house. I decided to buy a Tank as the center piece of my living room but this time I’m going to do things right. Long term I’m shooting for this tank to be full sps reef tank

Details of tank
60”x24”x24” sca 150
REGAL 300INT 12" INTERNAL PROTEIN SKIMMER
Synergy ghost overflow
75 gal tank that was given to me using as sump
2 maxspect gyre xf250 powerheads
Aquatic life 60” hybrid 4 bulb fixture with 2 gen 2 radions from my old tank

When I first received the tank I received it with back glass broken

I went back and forth with sca and finally sent me another tank took about 4 weeks. During that time I started building my stand

It was finally time to put my Aquascape together and fill this bad boy with water

Then September 2018 comes around by this time I have a earmuff wrasse, sunburst, Moyer leopard, rhomboid wrasse, 2 female flame wrasse, and a goby in qt. Hurricane Matthew decides to hit the Carolinas. Which didn’t effect my home I live in Florida but I do disaster clean up. Which meant it was time for me to pack my bags and leave for who knows how long. This was very bad all these fish were only in qt about a week. I tried to have a buddy of mine take care of them but that didn’t work out to well so I put them all in the dt.

Hurricane Irma hits so I leave the Carolinas to head to the panhandle. When I come home for Christmas my tank is a mess

I finally come home in the begging of February. I get everything looking good again and start putting frags in my tank.

I wake up the next morning and I go to feed my fish and I see specs on my fish. I have ick! So now I’m in the process of trying to catch all of my fish and put them in qt for 72 days

Started to build a salt water mixing station. I’m used 2 space saver 55 gallon containers. I built a storage closet that is connected to my fish room that houses the salt water mixing station. I also cut a whole in the wall and mounted a a/c for the fish room
