SCA skimmer

I've had the sca302 for about 4 years. I'm on my second pump (and the replacement pump cost way too much) and the skimmer itself feels cheap and breakable. But I've been very careful with it and it makes tons of skimmate so I'm pretty happy.

Yeah second pump that’s not good. I have a reef octopus on one tank it’s been running non stop for five years

Also thank you for your input :)

Ran a SCA 303 for years. Had to replace impellers in the pump but other than that, ran flawlessly once dialed in. For the price point, it was a work horse

I modified one at a shop I worked at by replacing the stock pump with a sedra needle wheel plus a mesh mod and it worked very well, I do agree the craftsmanship is on the cheap side so they are rather delicate, but for the price point, hard to beat.
