So I have had this zoa for almost a year and this little "disc" has always been on this frag. I didn't think anything of it till tonight when I was feeding and bumped it. It closed up just like a clam. Since I already have a clam and it's doing fantastic I'm sure it will do well. My question is...what is it and should I remove it? It does not appear to be causing any issues so I am tempted to leave it.

A member of the scallop grouping known as BiValve. They are harmless filter feeders
