SCAM ON INSTAGRAM BEWARE CATFISHING R2R!

Hey reefers.... be careful. This week, I had a pop up in my instagram from Reef2Reef (or so I thought) asking to follow me. I thought, hey... cool - they like me, they really like me - LOL. Well, today I get a message saying that I won the R2R / Premium Aquatics / Orpheck Goodie Contest. It came with instructions to click on something to register and then post a screenshot in a message back to them to claim my prize. This struck me as very odd and when I clicked (like an idiot), my phone gave me a pop up - Danger Will Robinson. Looking closer at the screen (getting the readers out) ... this whole thing was from reef2rreef.... see that extra R?? (They don't really like my Insta - LOL)
I've attached pics below. Look out - these folks are catfishing reefers not wearing reading glasses. Don't be fooled - there is only one Reef2Reef ... 2 R's, 4 E's and 2 F's. If you recently got a follow request from them - report it immediately.

I got the same message. I message rev asking. I thought the same thing oh they really like me. Then I got the message saying I won. I thought wow that's really cool as I've been wanting a sticker, shirt and beanie. Figures darn it.

You took it farther than I did ... of course they asked for a credit card! Wow - I hope they don't get anyone to actually do it. What a mess that will be to clean up.

Yep - I saw your post on IG. Great post calling them out!! I blocked those suckers after they tried to scam me. Bye bye... Thanks R2R for being so responsive.
