You guys should be using a credit card to send the payments, you always have charge back protection regardless of who or how you send the payment then.

Admittedly I didn't think about it. I'm new to the hobby and was so excited at the possibility of getting really good lights for a discount because someone needed to move them (I've done that before for people).

It wasn't until he stopped replying that I really thought about the risk. It was an unfortunate lesson to learn, but atleast I know to be wary
