scaping the back glass

researching options for future tank. have seen some of the full back glass surrounds produced in european countries and like the look, sorta. i would like a full back glass covered in marco foundation rock with some shelves sticking out from the back glass locked into place by the rocks above and below them. i don't think silicone will last as a permanent adhesive for wet rocks. does anyone know of a glue or epoxy that would work for this application? or am i crazy for trying this?

I Think it would be easier and less risky if you had a molded back created for you.

appreciate your response. easy im not worried about, its the risky that bothers me. ill keep looking for a manufacturer that makes a back glass "surround"

Black pond and stone foam from great stuff

Drill hole on the sand rock and put a stick in then drill the shelf rocks and stick it in. Put it all the way against the glass, still have the illusion it on the glass less risky
