Last week I added an Eviota pelliucida (gold line) goby to my 10g. My clownfish hasn’t been the best tank mate and has occasionally given chase to the poor goby (no biting or tail-slapping). this has caused the goby to be very timid, only leaving his cave a few times a day. I have read that eviotas can be rather social, would adding one or two more help spread aggression/ act as dither fish? Or am I just risking two other fish being bullied into hiding?

i would refrain from adding another goby. try to see if you can get a nem/ euphillia for the clown to host. i have a frogspawn on a shelf that my clown never leaves. if all else fails you can always sequester the bully in a lil mesh breeding box until it pipes down. maybe try breaking up territories or trading the clown for a juvenile

breeding box is a good idea! I just bought one two days ago actually. Nice coincidence. ive made every attempt to make this clown host, multiple anemone species, every lps under the sun but nothing works, she loves swimming in the open and won’t stay in one place :). I’ve had the old girl for ten years now so I just can’t bring myself to rehome her. Though my fingers would thank me for it.

To be honest the 10 gallon is too small for more than a clownfish. Anything you add might cause territorial aggression

I have to disagree with that one, sort of have to take it case to case. I’ve successfully kept a blenny and a bangaii (not at the same time) with the clown in this system. No aggression what so ever
