I’ve got some patches of gha that I want to get rid of. I used to have a Mithrax crab that ate all of it, that was 4 months ago. It didn’t touch my corals. I’ve heard of them praying on corals like blasto’s, which I do have. What do you guys recommend?

Personally never had one touch a coral. I used to have two until my Trigger got a taste for crab, now I can’t have you as they don’t last more then 30 seconds from hitting the water

Well I’ve got a 10g nano so I’m fine lol

But I also have a fire fish that locks itself into its “bolt hole” at night. Would there be a chance if it eating it?

Have had some that I did not NOTICE doing anything wrong. However, I caught my last one eating an acan after the lights went out.

I find emeralds hard trust but last two actually focused on bubble algae and did no destruction

I've never had much in terms of algae. I target fed them nori and freeze dried food and they never messed with coral

my firefish and emerald crab got along fine. The firefish did his thing and the crab looked the other way. That's not to say it couldn't happen. I had an emerald crab get a little too friendly with my zoas - they filed a police report for harassment, but the charges were dropped because there wasn't enough evidence. If you catch my drift

I have a few emeralds. Small females are more trustworthy than the big males. Dont figure......

I’ve had three (think I still have two, never see them though). They do their job and leave my corals alone!
