Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab Shells

Hoping someone can help me with this...where would I go about getting shells for my crabs to switch into? I have 2 and wanted to ask here before asking the LFS as there may be more options, or at least more affordable options getting them online instead of from the LFS. Also when I do get the shells, before I place them in the tank should I boil them or soak them before placement? Just want to make sure they are available when the crabs need them, thank you in advance!

Reefcleaners has them.

My Scarlet hermits have never changed shells in 4 years. I have bigger shells for them, but they never change.

Yeah I've read that from a lot of people but I figure it's probably best to at least have them available just in case, thank you.

My lfs will throw in extra empties if you ask. My hermits change shells like underwear but now that homer mentioned it, my three big scarlets have not...interesting.

I have dozens of empty shells in my reef for all my hermits. I have not seen my 2 reef scarlet hermits change shells in over 7 months. Just ask you LFS guy after you buy some food etc. they will generally throw some in for FREE... YES I said it.... FREE
