Scary worm ID?

I think/hoping its just a bristle worm, but the pictures I've looked up look a little different from this guy in my tank. This is the best video I have, hoping to get more evidence. Thoughts?

Well, hello there you little beastie! (the worm...)

Hard to make a 100% positive ID from the phots, but I'd bet a modest sum that it's a Bearded Fireworm (Hermodice carunculata)

Not reef safe as they will munch on corals (and other things). And of course there is a reason for the name 'Fireworm', so don't touch it or contact it's bristles.

Some people like to keep these oddities (especially Eunicid worms) in their own little tanks as they can be quite interesting to observe all on their own.

Agreed, doesn’t look like a typical bristleworm.

There are over 10,000 species of marine annelid (polychaete) worm, so the best we can do is ''It looks like this one'.

Whenever I see one like this loaded with bristles and with a buff physique, the caution flag goes up. Definitely cool critters though, just not in a tank full of coral.

I didn't watch the movie, I want to sleep tonight. I had my hand in my tank yesterday evening and ended up with sore hands from something I bumped into moving rocks around. I saw a couple bristle worms in the process, I'm going to tear it down and will be hunting these fuzzy killers. I lost a lot of coral in that tank before I decided to shut it down.
