Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and relatively new to the hobby(almost been a year). I was perusing craigslist, and found a 90 gallon glass aquarium for around $700 and it came with...

An emerald trigger 34 sump
Skimmer: aquamaxx ConeS CO-1
Return pump: Aqua medic dc 5.1
Lighting: massive programmable Chinese black boxes.
Heater: Eheim 200 watt
CPR HOB overflow

And it also came with a stand most of it was plumbed, but I will have to do a couple things.

I have a 10 gallon nano reef tank, and that is my only and first saltwater tank, so this is quite the step up. It's going to be awhile before I start to set stuff up though, because I'm planning on moving soon. However I plan on getting almost everything in order so that once I move hopefully I can just add water and go. (Depending on when I start my cycle)
 
Here is what I'm thinking for stocking...

- Occ. clown pair
- Fire fish
- coral beauty angelfish
- Midas blenny
- Purple tang
- Some type of wrasse (I like X-mas and 4 line)

Any suggestions for more fish? Or advice on if the ones listed are ok?


I’m going to start to slowly buy live rock (dead rock). For an aquascape I think I want to make a big cave system. What do you guys use to secure rocks together for aquascaping? Do you just use aquarium safe silicone or something else?
 
I plan on putting sand in my tank too, I like the look. Are any brands of sand better than the other? Or types of sand?
