Schnitzels Shallow 250 Leemar

That's pretty impressive. I can't get a reading that wouldnt be at least 3 pages off from the included ULR booklet. It's more of a "Humbling Checker," although in your case it looks like you've got it nailed. I would definitly slowly swing that alk back up a few points, sounds like you've got it worked out.

Thanks. I haven't even ran gfo or done a water change since I started this tank. Only thing keeping my phosphates in check are bio pellets.

I'm still working on getting power to my shed where my mixing station is. It's def on the to do list this weekend. Wires are already there, just need to get the conduit and box.

I don't mean to sound bad but bad water quality can cause stress to fish which could lower their immunity and diseases like ich could show. I say this because it's happened to me.

Wow that's a chunk of cash in fish you lost.

Never seen ICH wipe out that many fish before.
And what's causing soo many phosphates in that big of a new tank?

I don't think low alk affects fish. Lol

Nitrates are 0. Not sure what else would affect the fish.

Phosphates are .02. That's where I usually like to keep them at. They were dealing with ich ever since I added everybody to the new tank. Such a bummer.

Agreed and I wasn;t referring to ALK. I didn't read that part. Sorry for your losses. Dealing with it myself currently. :(

Took some time to hook up my eb8, WXM, battery backup, and fuge light today. It was a pain in the **** mounting everything, but it's all working really good now. Time to spend some time with some zip ties and clean up all these wires.

**** that's a lot of equipment!
How hard is it for you to buy equipment vs. buying corals.
I always go to the store to get a powerhead of supplements etc and just leave with a giant bag of corals and no equipment lol.

Just keep putting it off...

In all honesty I don't normally buy corals from fish stores. The majority of fish stores in my area don't have a very good selection of acros. If they do, it's usually maricultured/wild colonies, and I'm not a big fan of those.

Now that I had so many fish die, I'm def in the market for some fish right now. Looking to add some wrasses and some schooling fish. Gunna do a school of ignitus anthias.

Sweet!

Very nice, what type of anthias are those? Who did you get them from? I see you've put them into your display already, does than mean you don't plan on a QT process?
