Scloy trouble

Okay so I bough my first scloy at a frag swap and I got it home it was doing good then it started puting out wight stuff and I heard the water got really cold he had them in cups no tanks so cold that have doomed it from the start? Heare is it now

all my other stuff is fine and thriving

I don't think the scoly being in the cup was its demise. If anything, corals transport a bit better colder rather than warmer. As long as it wasn't like freezing cold.

Wow that's rough. I would suggest low light low flow and maybe it will recover. I thought ours was bad when we saved it but man that just doesn't look good.
