I just purchased a Scoly Fist one for me. I have grown just about every type of coral except this one and Acros. I've placed it on the sand under a bit of an overhang. It has not inflated as of yet. Does it need more light or is it just acclimating. I'm a bit concerned it wasn't cheap. Any suggestion?

Scolys can be sensitive to light. Let it adjust in a deeper shaded environment. Then move up as needed. At least I found mine wanted a bit more shade than direct light under T5s. I have had them under MH too, but on the sandbed. No, they are not cheap. Is anything in this hobby?
