I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with scolys reproducing in captivity because I have never seen it or heard of it

I've got this guy I picked up last week at Reefa-palooza. Has a second head growing on the side, and since I took this pic it looks like theres a third one following it. Seller told me he had this guy for about 6 months when he noticed them

That’s a good looking scoly. Do you know how often he fed it?
Didn't think to ask him but they ALWAYS have their feeder tentacles out. I feed every 2-3 days and they take anything voraciously.

Beautiful scoly there. :)
I think that's why some lps don't do well for me. I never feed them.
I used to try, but between hungry fish, shrimp, crabs, and serpent stars, the corals didn't stand a chance.
Anemones, I can feed. They grab chunks of food quickly and enthusiastically, although I still sometimes have to assist them by fending off fish.

What I do is feed the fish a bit before so that they get distracted while I use a turkey baster to feed the coral. Mix of reef roids, fish food pellets, with red sea energy a/b and on occasion some restore whenever I add in something new. Turning off the flow while they feed for 5 minutes before, and about 20 minutes after gives them time to suck it all in. Abundance to go around is key!

I think it might be a bowerbanki. Even better IMO. I love bowerbankis - look of a scoly and is able to grow more polyps.
