Scoly and Acan tissue recession

Hi All

Does anyone know the possible cause of
tissue recession? It happened about a month ago. Is that because of high magnesium? I found i cant control the mag. I am using RPM salt . The rest of LPS are living well .

Your nitrates and phosphates are elevated. I don’t know if that’s a factor. Have they always been at these levels? Usually LPS can tolerate higher numbers. Let’s ask the #reefsquad.

Is this how they look all the time or only on occasion? Sometimes my acans will recede when they get aggravated, but usually go back to normal after a little while. Is your flow very aggressive where these are placed?

I bought it on 27 March. It was so thin and bad. After few weeks, it was getting better and bumpy. My no3 and po4 always keeps the same level. I checked MG again by salifert tester. It is 1360 now. I place it on the bottom. The flow and light are low.
Recently i found the no3 was up to 50 and alot of algue on sand. Now the no3 is back to 25.
