Why and how can i get color back?

Reduce light and check water parameters. Btw is that a lobo right next to it?

Yes it is a lobo. Water para is pretty much on point, well i think. But what would i check for as far as what would cause bleaching? I have a 45 gallon and do 5 gal water change every week. Rest of the tank doing good.

It's been a while since I last did this but I think these are the chemicals. Check ph4, kh3, mg, and iodine. Scoly also needs to be fed to have a chance to go beyond a year.

Put it in a shady spot. Mine will do that if it is exposed to light that's too bright and the nutrient levels are too low. They are very sensitive to low to no NO3 and PO4. I keep mine in a shady spot because even on the sand bed my lights are too bright for it. I hope this helps

They also don't like sand on them. So if u got fish or inverts that get sand all over the place, u may want to reconsider its placement.
