My scoly never looked like this before and it’s always been healthy. All my others corals are happy. Nutrition been high for awhile already I don’t think that’s the cause.

Maybe an iodine dip with ciprofloaxin too. Check for pest underneath. Bacteria infection common too. Your phosphate way to high.

I got some bumblebee snails and they seem to take shelter behind it. That’s the only thing I added into the tank recently. I will try to dip it

The reason I do not buy scolys is bc I worked part time at a coral shop ... in 5 yrs I didn't see a single one stay healthy without some receding past 6-9 mos

Recession is INEVITABLE with scolys IMO

I believe they all live and grow to about 4ins and then naturally die slowly. I really haven't heard of ANYONE keeping one for years

I had it for about a year and it has always looked healthy in my tank except for yesterday. Looks normal this morning

I have a few that are over 5 yrs., no recession. I also had cut one and all
Pieces have grown well. Recently I’ve purchased ‘saved’ scoly that were cut and they’re also doing ok.
