I recently purchased a scoly. Unlike others i have had this one eats without the usual dramatic tentacle extension. It eats in a lazy fashion just contracts outer ring until food is covered over mouth. I feed it no different than scolys i owned in past or at least i think the same way. Been years since i had one. Is feeding in this manner a sign of something it does not like or i'm doing wrong.

Just be careful. In many cases scolys have been overfed. If your scoly is not in feeding mode it's not very good to feed it. They are basically telling you that they are not hungry. They can rot from the inside out because they don't digest the food. Wait till late night and check him out. Will prob be ready to eat and have feeders out.
