Scoly got stung

It would seem that something stung this. Do you think it will heel, or will it get worse? Is there anything I can do about it?

Is there a coral near by? Fish might have nipped at it. Keep an eye for further recession as an iodine dip might be in order. For now just keep things stable. The coral itself looks very healthy, I'm confident it will heal.

It should heal. It looks healthy otherwise.
If you spot feed keep it up. Try to find out if it is being stung. Sometimes something might grow on its hard base.

It was stung by either my Duncan, birds nest, or candy cane. I already move it away from a thing that can sting it again.

I’m a few years late to the party but did it heal? My scoly has an area just like that on it. Extends tentacles, eats well and puffs up still. Had it near a different type of scoly but haven’t ever seen sweepers.
