1st pic had messentril filaments which are used as defense or when mad.
How the flow...looks like its hit hard from one side.

The flow comes from the other side. Would it be possible that shrimp and crabs are harassing it too much?

You would see wounds from harassment in my oppinion, how are other corals looking? The coral looks unhealthy in general. In the top pitcure its receeded allready from the skeleton. How long have you had it?

Had it about two weeks. It pulls back there all the time then covers back up.

Ime scolies usually succomb to too much flow or not enough food. Your inverts might steal it b4 he gets to eat. Ive had luck using a cut soda bottle over the top to protect them.

9 kh, nitrate 10, phosphate under 0.25 (i need a better test kit.)
0.25 is way too high. If u say its below it might not be the issue but you wanna certainly be below 0.1.

If its 0.25 it will cause issues with sps for sure and can be an issue with sensitive lps for sure.

If you cant confirm its below 0.1 id ssy this is your cause. Do a waterchange or more than one in the next few days.

Just to be clear, with no certainty from the test please dont overreact and dump in gfo or other chemicals.

It might even be that the phosphate is not the cause for the bad health of the coral but i just lost 2 euphylias to high phosphates. I assume other corals are mostly softies, shrooms maybe lps?

Are there sensitive corals that do fine like acros or other sps? Those would rule out phosphate.

Just ordered a new kit. Will see how the tank is when i get home and decide on a water change needed before my friday water change.

Looks a bit bleached indeed
I don't think it looks bleached at all, it's just these specific corals prefer almost 0 light and 0 flow. I have posted this several times on this forum now, but I'll post it again. Here is my scoly recovery.

When I first got it, LFS wasn't sure it would survive so I got it for a song.

Very low flow, and very low light under an overhang.

This was probably close to a year before it fully recovered and started growing again.

Great looking scoly! Im no expert on them at all so thanks for this. One day if i find an affordable one i want one aswell. They are gorgeous.

I'm in the same boat, absolutely beautiful corals, but they come at a very high price point. I would not own one if I had not got this one for 10$. I'm just glad I could save it.

Whoa what a steal! Sure worth 150$ how it looks now. Congrats!
