Scoly lifting from skeleton

MP40QDs running at a maximum of 40% TSM and down to 20% lagoon. It developed a fold in the flesh and this catches any current and the flesh is lifted away from the skeleton. It's not in a high flow area. It's feeding well and the flesh remains puffy and full.

Any ideas?

Thats a hard one. polyp bailout? no real cause- to much flow, water chemistry, infection. I'd do an iodine dip, put it in a low to no flow area and leave it alone.

Thanks. It wasn't cheap and so I am quite nervous about giving it a dip in case it makes it worse. It often seems that doing nothing and leaving things alone is the best course of action. I've had it for quite a while and it still feeds enthusiastically. I've not seen polyp bailout on a Scoly - I don't doubt it could be possible but I have only seen them recede.
