Hi all
I'v a scoly thats got a couple baby's on it
Once its fully formed how does it separate from the mother scoly ?
Not got very good pics but but it's the red fire scoly in the pic ...you can see one of the new heads on the right of it

Probably better for you to saw them off, if you have access to a gryphon, or anything similar, it’s rather quite easy.
Run a search to find some diy YouTube videos

So it doesn't happen on it's own than ?

I’m sure out in the ocean it does, of course...
I just don’t think it does in our closed systems.
There’s nothing scientific to that.

It would be fascinating to see time lapse images of them separating in the wild, or just moving around as I’ve heard they like to congregate in certain areas around the reef.
Cool stuff

That red one doesn’t look like a scoly. The green bleeding Apple does. But the red looks like something else?
Definitely a scoly just has two baby's on it with is makeing it look odd , I'll get some feeding pic tonight next to the b/apple

No got a wilsoni aswell the are completely different , I'm out at the min but gonna pic them both so you can see the difference , definitely a scoly :)

Thanks chicity
