Recently aquired an awesome bleeding apple. For the past 2 nights the feeders have been out late when the lights go off. I have given it a couple small pieces of krill the last 2 nights and it appears the scoly is getting 'jagged' instead of smooth round and doughnut like. Is this the habit it has after feeding? It still has all of its colors it just appears to not be completely round anymore almost like the sides are recessing. Its not really puffed up at all since I fed it the first night I got it. The next day after it didn't really puff up at all until night alittle bit and the feeders came out again in full force to feed it. This morning it looks the same non puffed up and round like most scoly u see. Just wondering if this is normal after feeding? I am going to skip feeding it tonight to see if that makes a difference. I know nems look pretty crazy the next day after you feed them, just hoping this scoly is the same way? Any help would be great. Still has all its color in full force and is on the bottom of my tank. Everything else looking great no problems. Any help would be good been trying to research this with only finding the scoly is easy to keep :tsk:

Too much flow can make them "turtle" as such. Also, Acanthridae are famous for nibbling on Scolymias!

If it doesn't start looking better, bring it to my house. But like someone already said, unless it starts showing Skelton, I wouldn't worry to much.
