Scoly Rapid Bleaching

So today I noticed my Orange scoly was becoming transparent and bleaching. This has happened very rapidly, a few days ago it was fine. I have experience keeping scolies and I’ve never had this happen before, there are 9 other scolies in the tank that are all fine. It has been in a more shaded area for the past 4 months but it has done very well up until this point. It still has full polyp extension and no recession. Parameters are all the same as always

Temp 78
Salinity 1.025
ALK 8.6
Cal 440
Mag 1380
Ph 8.1
Nitrate 10
Phosphates .01

only thing I can think it wasn’t getting enough light so I moved it over a bit to get more.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Lower the temp to 77 or less. I think that is their natural reef temp. Have your phosphates always been that low?

Yea I’ve read they come from colder water but I’ve always kept them at that temp with no issue and I have about 10 of them and the rest are fine so not sure if that would suddenly affect it. Phos has always been like that, I can’t get my phosphates up to save my life.

This scoly was in straight shade. Par was probably less than 60

Have to try something. You did the right thing.
Are they all getting fed?
Is the orange putting out feeding tentacles?

I moved it over into more light, only thing I could do. Scoly is feeding fine I feed all them once every week or and has tentacles out everynight and no tissue recession. It’s the weirdest thing, outside of of the color it’s healthy

Maybe the temp, salinity is fine. There are over 100 other coral in the tank including 9 other scolies that are all fine

My bleeding apple started bleaching like that too now its loosing tissue fast..I have no idea what happened. I have another scolly doing fine.. its so weird. I lowered the temp..hopefully that helps
