Hi Kyle! From my perspective it's really not that hard and very rewarding. I bought a scoly about a year ago that looked very similar to yours at my LFS. Mine, when I first purchased it barely had a mouth at the center. I felt if I could get it to eat I had a pretty good chance at total rehab. To get it to eat I had to wait until the tank was dark at night and feed small bits (cut up) of mysid shrimp. At first you could barely see and feeding tentacles, but it would grab a hold of the shrimp, then take the next hour or so to ingest into it's mouth. If you have any Emerald crabs or shrimp in your tank you're going to have to stop them from stealing. Fairly quickly I was feeding the scoly every other day and occasionally daily. You'll be amazed how quickly it will recover with the full skeleton you have in place. If you can get it to eat and your water quality is good I predict you'll have a full awesome scoly in 3 to 6 months. I'll look and see if I still have my progression photos to post later, but to the best of my memory mine healed and looked great within 3 or so months.
