Picked up this scoly last week and it just hasn't seemed to inflate like it was when I purchased it have tried it in many different spots in the tank from the sand bottom to a couple different shelfs. When it was on the bottom a diamond goby kept dropping sand in it. So I moved it up off the bottom to a rock ledge that didn't seem to be in a high flow or light are it seemed to be happier for the night but the next couple days it has been depressed and won't inflate. Just moved it to a different spot any advice would be appreciated

Parameters are
Calc. 420
Mag. 1280
Ph 8.08

Have you been feeding it? Scolys can benefit from feeding meaty particles. I wouldn’t move it too much. That can be part of the problem as well. Let him settle in.

Big change on lighting from the previous tank perhaps.

I have tried to feed it twice it had some very short tentacles around the mouth so I spot feed a few brine and mysis shrimp to it it did grab them and take them in.

What time did you feed it? I believe they only like to feed at night.
