Its really a toss in the air with whats gonna happen. I blow on it a bit with a turkey baster. And get anything off that you can. Maybe a iodine dip if you can.

Don’t fret! It will recover assuming your parameters are good and stable.
I’ve been nursing one for a month or so that got zapped by another scoly.

Thanks, I do a turkey baster and put things worse, lose little bit more. If I leave aprently is improving

Wait..... scolys can sting each other? I gotta get home and move mine then I have 3 right next to each other

I, like many of us, was under the impression that corals of the same species can get along. Well, this doesn't seem to apply to scolys... or at least these 2. unnamed1.jpg
And for those of you that may think that the bleeding apple may have been able to fend off the attack, here's the morning after...

That was an expensive lesson in reefing...
I would love to hear from others if this is unique to scolys or is it just that these 2 weren't meant for each other.
Yea sir they will. And especially if they are from different regions. They will get along until they don’t…
And scolys will extend mesanteric filaments from their sides…

Jus was tue tentacles was touch I think I love super fast when notice, the torch’s fall in both scoots one is better the other is going too fast this is after 1 h

I’m thinking in cut the scoot in half to at least save the other part. I don’t know what do you think I should do

If you frag a scolly, it will never recover, and it will look like half a scolly for years.

Do nothing but feed him a little to enhanced energy to put to repair.

My guess, 6-8 weeks for repair.

I forgot mention you

Have a warpaint scoly. Put him in dt, Toby puffer was taking chunks out.
Put scoly in satellite 20 g, filefish ate all his feeding tentacles. Filefish died.
Scoly grew back everything and doing well.
You can worry if you want, but he will recover.
