So I’ve had a scooter blenny for prob 3 months and I bought a pistol and yellow watchman pair. I was gone for a day and came home to a dead goby. Shrimp is still alive and building caves so I don’t think it was acclimation as they were in the same container and bag from the store. My blenny has a buggered up eye thats foggy so I’m assuming it killed my goby. Can I do anything to help it? Was lethargic for a day and color was pale but she’s back to eating good and scooting around

Cloudy eyes are typically bacterial or flukes. Flukes look like cloudy “patches” or even like “scales” on the eye with noticeable areas that are worse. Fully cloudy is typically bacterial in nature.

Photos would also help confirm. Good luck, I hope it pulls through!

It only showed up after I introduced the yellow watchman. Wouldn’t it have to have visible signs of flukes to give it to this one? I just noticed her tail is torn a little so I’m assuming it’s trauma based. I’ve never lost a fish that fast and if I lost the pistol shrimp it would make more sense bc they are more sensitive to water change.
