The sump is a part of the back of my 30 gal nano and it crept through one of the vents that takes water in.

Should I leave it there since its tiny (approx. 1") and let it grow without trouble from other fish (specially my maroon clown)

Let me know :)

How long has the tank been setup? In many cases scooter blennies need a well established tank that is a little larger than that just to provide for their dietary needs.

My recommendation would be to catch it out and rehome it. Let your tank mature for 6-12 months before adding a dragonet. Even then 30g is on the small side, so rubble piles and training it to eat from a dragomet feeding station would be a good start.

I think your fine just try to feed it frozen brine chopped up a little then switch it over to chopped mysis. It worked for my 3 ruby red dragonets.
