Scooter Dragonet

So sad this morning. Luigi, my scooter dragonet passed away. Found him wrapped up in my Elegance Coral. He was one spunky little fish and I'm gonna miss him. He hadn't been eating the past three days. The only thing I could find on him was a small ulcer on his stomach..like something had stung him. I have had him for 3 years. Not sure what their lifespan is. Could have gotten into my rock nem. RIP buddy.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dragonet, bruce lee, recently and still have not decided whether to get another or not. If you had him for 3 years though then you must have made a nice home with for him with Lacey for him to eat

Yeah, he ate VERY well. He loved the New Life Spectrum pellets and pods of course.

I absolutely adore my lil scooter!! Such sweet gentle dispositions for a fish and just funny to watch them foraging on the rocks with the little tiny black pinpoint eyes. Its such an aptly named fish! I LOVE when they're happy and that little flag goes up! Sooo sorry for your loss!! I'm thankful for your post!!! I had made plans to pick up an elegance this week... now not so much.
