Hi all. My son observed the Scopas tang making a trench in the sand in the back of the tank today. It's probably dug a 3" deep by 6" - 8" long. Has anybody else observed this in their tangs?

Can we see a picture of this tang? Sounds like you may have a Salmon or Steelhead to me.

I have a white tail bristle that moves sand from from the bottom of its safe zone. Funny the orchid dotty keeps moving it from its burrow and into her living room. Annoying neighbors

That’s an interesting observation. No eel or other predator can hide inside the hardscape. Fish are amazing, imo.
