A sting is possible as is an injury in which both will and can heal on its own however, can you provide a pic under white lighting as pic is too dark to conclude this is what we see here

Whites at 100 not the best, he dosent like pictures..

better and looks like post injury from scrape. Also concerning is: This fish is quite thin and I suspect youre feeding flakes and pellet ? It needs fats and aminos and you will want to add to its diet. Some recommended foods are :

LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
TDO Pellets
small plankton
Hikari Marine cuisine
Ocean nutrition veggie diet
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef
Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract

Add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally

I feed once a day with brine for my clowns he also eats some, omega one marine pellets and also nori for him and my blenny. Should I feed twice a day?

Yes - feed it more often, even 4x a day to get some body mass on it. Just avoid feeding if the fish isn't eating all that you are offering - let the fish tell you when to stop adding food.

He looks really skinny. I feed in this order through out the day and its not an over whelming amount.

Formula 2 flake- morning snack

LRS herbivore diet and frozen mysis shrimp- mid day meal

Hikari Marine cuisine- afternoon snack

Nori seaweed 3-4X a week.

I'm only able to feed twice a day, as I works most days I've only had him for a few weeks and he's is young only about 1.5 inches

My Scopas is very healthy gets Frozen mixed food and nori 2 x per day, not a fan of the flakes or pellets can cloud up the water.

I only do that because I'm around the tank a good bit during the week and they beg like i just said "treat" to my dogs. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

But sometimes they only get fed once or twice a day.

Just feed slow and stand in the same spot when you feed. They will get used to you walking up to that spot.

This diet is inadequate and you may want to consider an auto feeder such as Eheim unit which will offer multiple feedings while youre not home but you must give them more variety. Flakes and pellets and Nori is NOT going to cut it. These herbivores need fats and aminos (i gave you a list of foods to consider). I have 22 tangs and there is no way they would make it on diets suggested.

I don't feed flakes, should I? I feed brine shrimp, pellets supposedly for tangs and nori with garlic? He also eats off the rocks, so I should add more variety?
