Hello predator section!
Just wondering if I could get an ID on this guy.
I'm interested in buying him, but the seller does not have a scientific name for him and I don't want to get him if he's going to turn into a 1ft long monster!
It's not the best pic, but I'm asking for more from the seller. He's advertised as a green scorpion.
Something tells me perhaps a Sebastipistes?

I guess I'd better attach the photo

I also found this video on their Facebook page. I'm not sure what the rules are about posting from Facebook, so mods please delete this if it violates any rules.

Yellow spotted scorpion not green scorpion aha, I have been thinking about getting it too ;)

Yep, 100% Reef safe.
So it's a yellow spot? So sebastipistes cyanostigma?
I'm colourblind so couldn't tell what colour it is haha.
I've been looking for one for ages. You better be quick if you want him! I may just put my order in tonight ;)

All yours aha, I love them, but haven't the time to go out there at the moment [emoji14]

Haha thanks mate. I won't be too disappointed if you beat me to it though :)

Nah I'm in Bega, way down near the NSW/Vic border.

Ahh! That is why you are ordering it, that makes sense [emoji28] I hope it makes it down in good health to you!

I hope so too :)
I'll be sure to put up photos! I won't be able to stop showing him off haha

So I'm taking the plunge! I PMd 100% saying I'll take him if he's still small. Hopefully they'll get back to me tomorrow with a rough size. If he's too big, I won't be able to house him just yet!

Nice little yellow spot there. I have had one for a few years now and they stay really small but have a huge appetite. Enjoy

They top out around 10cm which would have been too big for my 1 foot cube haha. He's half that size so it's all good!
I'm pretty sure (but could be very wrong) they don't really get past 8cm, except for those stray huge ones, which is ba bit more managable [emoji14] plus a 1ft cube would be a good amount of space [emoji14] my scorp (unconfirmed ID) sits where I feed him all day and night and that's pretty much it aha.
