It's about 60% done really. I need to drop the pump into the NSW reservoir and run the return line to the sump. After that I need to program the profilux and get the safeguards in place and we should be good to go for AWC's! I have the profilux expansion box as well as the extra level sensors. I will also be teeing in a TDS meter to the line before the reservoir. I also need to add the float valve to the top FW reservoir and we have liftoff

Right now I mix the NSW in the lower reservoir and use the manual valve to fill buckets, works great, just not automatic!

I'm happy with it now, it just wasn't the original plan Originally I wanted to use the R-400 cement to make some longer overhangs and caves but couldn't source it in Canada at the time. So I use a bunch of epoxy and went from there. Honestly it has left me with room for the corals to grow so I am happy.

I just added 15 berghia nudi's to my tank to try and deal with a bad aptasia problem I am currently having. I am hoping that when I get back home after two weeks of work I may be able to see a difference but I don't feel it will happen that quick. It's going to take some breeding before there are enough to do the job. Plus my wrasses will probably be jerks and eat my investment. After this it may be filefish time or something along those lines.

I swear by Berghia Nudibranch. It won't happen that quick. I say give it a couple of months. They will get every single one... Even ones between polyps of zoanthids.

I'm honestly thinking about adding a couple coralvue mini MH reflectors and throwing 2 x 250W 20K bulbs into the mix... Some of the MH SPS tanks just blow my mind. Thoughts?

Did my first fragging of the SPS now that I have the IC660 up and running over the frag sump. I have my fingers crossed that it works well.

on another note my nitrates are sky high and I need to get the AWC system working but my LFS hasn't been able to get in the salt I use. Time to start hunting for it! Anyone know of where I can get TM bio-actif salt in Canada?

Wendy says the frags are looking good in the frag system. I have some algae in the frag system due to the new lights running and high nitrates but I will mitigate that with water changes when I get home. Plus I have a good chunk of time off and will get the automatic water change system finished and running while I can monitor it. I'm always hesitant to make changes in the short time frame I am home from work for. If something goes wrong while I am away and Wendy has to deal with it I'd be in trouble.

I'm going to frag some of the SI pectina. My LFS buddy is going to come over with his saw to make the job cleaner. One question though. A lot of the petina has skin on the top and bottom side, so the only place to affix it to a tile or plug will be on the side cut. Should I mount it vertically (essentially 90 degrees to what it was happy at) or should I add some LR rubble to the tile and then find a way to affix the frag in it's original orientation, allowing water to flow across the underside as well?

How about a FTS?

Sure! When I get the camera back out to do a round of shots I will take a FTS. I'm usually not impressed with the FTS as there isn't enough growth with the SPS to really take up the negative space I left during rockscaping. Eventually it will fill in but it just takes time

On another note, one test says I Have 2.5ppm NO3 (Salifert)), and the other says 32ppm NO3 (RedSea). I completed ~120g worth of water changes over the last 2 weeks and there is noticeable less microalgae growing in the frag tank. Ever since I tossed the 3 x 36" T5's over it there was some fast algae growth. But that's now under control. I also fragged a bunch of the sps, including the RR Wolverine So I will give it a good month and see how it's doing in the frag system.

Just ordered a RR blue matrix, ORA Hawkins, and a couple other no-namers (sunset milli, bazooka joe chalice, limeaid, etc. Loking forward to getting them in the system. Any recommendations for lighting levels?
