Kind of a an impulse buy but seen an amazing arrival of lineatus and Scots wrasses. And ended up grabbing one of each. Lineatus was on my list.
Do Scots turn out to be aggressive wrasses? So far in q tank lineatus seems to be dominant with minimal aggression. Got a few wrasses in the tank already
Rubrimargin dominant terminal male
Adornatus second on line with some aggression to other wrasses (wish I could catch and remove.
Flame female slowly turning into male
Exqisit a newly added small one
Lubocks not as mean as they are reported to be, had him for around 2 years
Aurantidorsalis
Rubriventralis to be added
Melragris
Pair of bipartitus to be added
Few flashers
Planing to add laboutei, rhomboid, melagrides (if I manage to keep one Alive)
Solorensis

Any input against introducing the Scott's? And any general input about my list and the planned additions?

Read this (if you have not already )for different wrasse compatibility . It is excellent. :

Personally I have not had a Scott's, but I have read they are higher on the aggression scale compared to others on your list.
Reef squad members and other members with experience will be able to tell you specifics on the Scott's & their recommendation.
Also a social acclimation box is a great tool for introducing new additions after qt.

Stay away from the Scott's. I have tried twice and both times it was a disaster in less than a year. The first time led to an injury that led to the death of both the Scott's and an exquisite. The second time the Scott's killed a Solarensis and a lubouti before it could be captured and returned.
About the only wrasse I have owned nastier was a 6 line.

Undoubtedly one of the WORST aggressors in the genus. I would NOT add this fish.
Adornatus second on line with some aggression to other wrasses (wish I could catch and remove.
Also commonly aggressive.

And to put some crappy icing on this crappy cake, Scott's always fade out in capativity. 3 months down the road in captivity and those saturated colors are long gone.

Agree 100%

Thanks for all the info. Guess he stays in one of the frag tanks.
