Hello is a scp-90 cross wave maker too powerful a 46 gallon bow front tank?

No, I have one in a 20 long and just ordered another
Are you sure? I got the SCP 90 for my 56 gallon (about 30 inches long and 25 inches high and 18 inches deep) with the setting is on the lowest speed setting and the water is really moving!

I know the SCP90 is rated at a 3,300 GPM flow rate, but assuming that is at full speed.... I cannot find what the GPM is for the different speeds though.

Assuming you want 40x... that puts me in a target flow of 2,240 GPH.

It just seems my Xena and Bubbles are really rocking and I've moved them to the end of the flow path.

Thoughts?

Yeah, that was accurate. Had them alternating one at each end facing each other. One up top and the other down lower. Made quite the wave action in the tank with the surges like real waves. I did not have them at 100% each though. The one at the top would suck air. I want to say they were at like 60%
