Im gonna give it another week, but if its still all good do you think i can go ahead and add the possum wrasse after that?
I generally give 14 days when faced with an uncertain diagnosis, just to see if anything shakes out.....

Yeah, I don’t know if the prazi didn’t work or if there is some other cause for the scratching. There were a few days of relief?Well he’s still flashing… I’m out of ideas at this point
I guess so, but it was a while after the prazi doses, i have seen in the last 2 days now some other abnormalities in the tank, they dont seem good. My cleaner shrimp is covered in black spots, this happened once before right when i added him, but it wasn’t as many and he molted soon after and I haven’t seen it since. Second I’ve seen brittle stars in places I’ve never seen them before, i knew i had at least 4 or 5 in the rocks, but never seen them outside of the rocks. Now in the last two days, I've seen them both in the open on the rocks and on the glass. One seems to be hollow in the center, it looks like it had a big chunk either eaten out of it or died off. The other looks very discolored in the middle, and both only have a couple arms left that are super short and look very discolored. Could these be signs of something wrong?Yeah, I don’t know if the prazi didn’t work or if there is some other cause for the scratching. There were a few days of relief?

Thats good to know, the shrimp just molted a couple days ago but still has the spots… still eating and looking okay though. Dartfish is still flashing a lot, but everything else is looking normal. Any other ideas? Many species of crustacean develop what is commonly known as “black spot shell disease.” This is more of a symptom than a specific disease. Fungi, bacteria, algae, and protozoans can all grow on the shells of crustaceans, causing erosive damage that shows up as black spots. Because the shells of these animals only grow during the molting process, there is no treatment that will cure this problem between molts. Generally, if the animal molts frequently enough, the lesion will gradually heal on its own.
The damage to the brittle stars could be from tankmates, or it could be a reaction to poor water quality.
Neither of these issues would be related to the fish issue.
