Scraping Algae off glass what to do ?

Hi All,

My tank finally has some green algae on the glass. What do I do with it after scraping the glass? I have a CUC will it be ok to just let it work through the system? I just did a water change 2 days ago.

you dont need to do anything. just scrape it off.

A clean simple sponge will remove it, or you can use :
-Edge of an old credit card and net loose stuff
- use an algae scraper from walmart or LFS
- Magnetic glass clean ( as pictured below)

the pink looking stuff looks maybe cyano but others probably just diatoms if it is a new tank
