I'm looking for advice as far as scraping coralline near the bottom of the front glass. I have usually used a razor blade to scrape coralline but I'm not sure how far down I can go without getting too close to the silicone ?? any advice? any other things I can use to scape?

I still use the blades with handles they sell at the lfs. Works good for me, and on a 24" tank I dont have to go swimming to get it all.

Just take your time with blade and get as close as possible to silicone

Before the metal scrapers came out I used an old credit card to scrape the hard stuff. Scraping it down to the silicone wont hurt anything, Just don't push too deep into the bead and you will be fine.
